My sister's Bachlorette Party and Wedding Shower

My only sister,Antoinette  is getting married on July 17th and in the middle of May we got to celebrate with a girls night out.  We had dinner and drinks at the new casino in Wilkes Barre and all the girls had a great time.  Then to end the evening we went to the Woodlands and danced to the fun music of The Toga Party Band.  None of us got to bed until about 4am but we all had an awesome time.
On Sunday the 17th Antoinette had her wedding shower at Genetti's where her wedding will be held. It was a beautiful afternoon and she received alot of great gifts.

May 2010 - Amelia's 1st Birthday

Wow!!!   I can't believe that one year has gone by already.  I remember going to the hospital and having Amelia like it was yesterday and look at her now.  She is walking, actually practically running to keep up with Sonja and Gavin and she acts like such a big girl.  Amelia is the happiest baby I know always laughing, smiling and enjoying every moment of her life. 

Baltimore Maryland Vacation - April 2010

In April we headed to Baltimore Maryland and we couldn't have asked for a better week. Even though it was still early Spring the weather was 80 degrees and sunny every day. We had a great hotel room that was within walking distance of the Inner Harbor. We visited the Baltimore Aquarium which was totally awesome, we took a boat ride over to one of Baltimore's historical forts, and we enjoyed the sites and restaurants as well. After our few days there we drove to Wilkes Barre where my sister took all 3 of my kids for the weekend and Paul and I got to spend some quality time together alone at the Woodlands Inn and Resort. We couldn't have asked for a better vacation.

March 2010 - Sonja turns 5!!!!

On March 26,2010 my baby girl turned 5.  It's really hard to believe that Sonja is growing up that fast.  We had a birthday party here at our house with her close friends and then she had her first sleepover.  We had 5 girls spend the night and they had so much fun watching movies, eating popcorn, playing dress up and doing little girl things.  Happy Birthday Sonja.

Sonja and Gavin take on the Slopes

Sonja took off a day at school and Paul took off a day of work to hit the slopes at Seven Springs.  We put Sonja in the Tiny Tots Ski School.  She started at 9am and finished up around 2 pm.  When she was done she was able to ski all by herself and was able to ski the Greens on her own. 

Gavin went on the weekend to Boyce Park, a different ski resort here in Pittsburgh.  Gavin did awesome as well.  Paul worked with him and he was able to ski down the mountain all by himself.  I am so proud of my children.  The are willing to try anything and keep going until they get it right. 

February 2010 - Pittsburgh Snow Storm

In February of 2010 Pittsburgh got over 2 feet of snow in less than 24 hours.  After hours of shoveling out our driveway and cars we ended up having a blast building snowmen, sledriding and having snowball fights.!!!
